What is a website redesign?
A website redesign improves an existing website — its design, structure, copy, mobile experience, speed and SEO — while keeping what already works, such as useful content and pages that already bring in search traffic.
Who it’s for
- Businesses with a dated or confusing website
- Sites that work poorly on phones
- Sites that get visits but few enquiries
- Businesses that have changed since the site was built
Problems it solves
- A dated design that undermines trust
- An unclear message
- A weak mobile experience
- Few enquiries from visitors
- Technical SEO problems
What a Redesign Can Fix
Most redesigns aren’t about a prettier homepage. They’re about getting the right people to understand you and act.
-
Visual redesign
A modern look that matches the business you are today.
-
Mobile improvements
Layouts, buttons and forms that actually work on a phone.
-
UX & navigation
Simpler menus and page paths so visitors find what they need.
-
Messaging & copy refresh
Clear headlines that say what you do, who it’s for and what to do next.
-
SEO cleanup
Titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, redirects and structured data.
-
Image & content improvements
Better imagery and stronger service content — including AI-created visuals.
-
Conversion improvements
Clearer calls to action, shorter forms and obvious next steps.
-
AI-search clarity
Business facts and page structure that AI systems can understand.
-
Site speed
Leaner pages, optimised images and fewer heavy scripts.
The Before & After Lab
Drag to compare. Every transformation shows what changed and why.
- The problem
- Visitors couldn't tell what the business offered, and the contact link was hard to find on a phone.
- What we changed
- A clear headline, one obvious next step, simpler navigation and on-brand imagery.
- Why it matters
- When people understand you in seconds and can act easily, more of them reach out.
- The problem
- The only photos available were phone snapshots that didn't match the quality of the business.
- What we changed
- An AI photo shoot directed to the brand's colours, setting and tone, retouched for web and social.
- Why it matters
- Consistent, professional imagery makes every page and post look like the same trusted business.
A Redesign Works Best With the Right Support.
A new look helps. It helps more when the site is also easy to find, easy for AI systems to understand, full of good imagery, and looked after once it’s live.

Questions, Answered
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
A careless redesign can. We map existing pages, keep valuable URLs where possible and set up redirects for anything that moves, to protect the visibility you already have. No one can guarantee rankings, but we plan to avoid losing ground.
Should I redesign or rebuild?
If your content and structure are mostly sound, a redesign is usually enough. If the platform is holding you back or the site is badly broken, a rebuild can make more sense. Our redesign vs. rebuild guide walks through it. For a deeper look at auditing your site and protecting your search visibility, see our guide to redesign vs. new website.
Can I keep my existing content?
Yes. We keep what’s working and improve or replace what isn’t.
